For larger areas of more than 12m², two or more mats may be connected to a single thermostat (up to the rating of 15amps - approx 3450 watts), this equates to 23sqm of 150watts per sqm matting. Above that another thermostat would be required or a contactor.
Underfloor Heating Cable Mat
The cable mat system is similar to the cable kit, except the heating cable is adhered to a mesh, with the cable ready spaced out, for easy laying. The mesh on our cable mat has a built in adhesive, making it simple to lay.
The mat is simply rolled out, pressed to the floor, then tiled over - the mat system is ideal for larger, square or rectangular rooms where it can save time in spacing the cables.
