Why do these cables have to be installed in a concrete screed? |

The DVCU20 cables are 6mm diameter & have a higher heat output than the thinner cables we supply (20 watts per linear metre). They therefore require a thicker surrounding conductive mass to distribute the heat equally. If they were installed directly below thin tiles they would give uneven heating.
